Position Overview
A leading telecommunications company in Denver is seeking an Intermediate Level Network Engineer (NEIII) to join their advanced lab team.
ImportantThis role supports highly specialized technologies used in DOCSIS and PON/RPHY network environments.
Top Required Skills- DOCSIS - minimum 2-3 years of hands‑on engineering experience
- iCMTS experience using Harmonic or Comm Scope
- PON experience, including OLTS platforms (Adtran or similar)
- Harmonic ecosystem experience (Cable
OS, nodes, vCMTS, etc.)
If you lack experience in any of these four areas, this role is not applicable to your background.
Additional Required Technical Experience- RPHY architectures
- Cisco routers and switches
- EPON technologies
- Routing & switching fundamentals in provider‑scale networks
- troubleshooting advanced field and customer‑impacting issues
- Investigate issues impacting enterprise and provider networks
- Reproduce field issues in a controlled lab environment
- Partner with vendors to isolate and resolve defects
- Break, test, and validate network equipment to identify root cause
- Design, document, and improve network architecture
- Evaluate current technologies to identify gaps and performance issues
- Verify connectivity, access, and security parameters
- Tune, test, and validate network and security devices
- Program and configure routers, switches, and access systems
- Manage network activities from planning through implementation
Solid understanding of routing protocols, provider‑grade hardware/software, and large‑scale network infrastructure is essential.

Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
