Pro Sidian seeks an Environmental Scientist (ESTS6), Key Personnel, Subject Matter Expert - Exempt 541611 located in CONUS to provide Energy, Resources, and Industrials Sector related environmental services solutions for support services under the DOE-Wide National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) BPA services on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Golden Field Office (GFO) Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Technical Support Services for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program Office.
JOB OVERVIEWProvide services and support as a Technical Support Scientist in the Energy, Resources, and Industrials Industry Sector focusing on environmental services solutions for clients such as the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Golden Field Office (GFO). The role is based across the CONUS region.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESProvide Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) technical support services under the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program Golden Field Office (GFO) Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Provision (BIL Provision 40552) as part of a federal government small business set‑aside proposal. Act as a subject‑matter expert on human health and safety, leading the preparation of technical sections within environmental documents. Provide technical reviews and quality assurance for human health and safety assessments, contribute to project development and execution within the NEPA team, and collaborate with internal staff and external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance of all related documentation.
Participate in periodic reviews, conduct detailed technical analysis, and maintain meticulous documentation practices while aligning technical contributions with overall project objectives and regulatory standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 10 years of experience in environmental analysis and documentation.
- Alternative qualifications:
Master’s degree with 8 years of experience, or Doctorate degree with 6 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Substitution possible:
- Master’s degree (MA/MS) and 8 years of experience.
- Doctorate degree and 6 years of experience.
Health and Safety Expertise
- Specialized knowledge in human health and safety assessment and analysis.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and standards.
Technical Writing
- Proficiency in preparing technical sections related to human health and safety.
