Role: Transportation Hydraulics EIT/Coordinator
Location: United States – Colorado – Denver. Other locations:
Colorado Springs, Fort Collins.
Work with project engineers on stormwater master plans, floodplain modeling, and the design of urban and rural roadway, highway, and transit projects. Activities include:
- Prepare site studies, site designs, contract documentation, and graphic presentations.
- Create civil design drawings with BIM/CAD platforms for construction documents.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations and calculations, including stormwater management facility design, floodplain assessments, bridge hydraulics and scour evaluations, and water quality calculations.
- Assist in drafting cost estimates, specifications, and construction/contract plans.
- Support construction phase implementation of infrastructure.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
- Micro Station/AutoCAD proficiency; experience with Civil 3D, Storm
CAD, Open Roads Designer preferred. - MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Adaptability to fast‑paced, deadline‑driven work environments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and able to collaborate in an office setting.
- Experience with drainage design for highway/roadway projects, permitting, and surface‑water hydraulics for channels or bridges.
- Proficiency with Micro Station/AutoCAD and familiarity with high‑way and road engineering software such as Bentley Concept Station, Open Roads Designer, Autodesk Infraworks, and Civil 3D.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

CompensationColorado: $60,690.00 – $95,370.00 per year (based on skills, experience, education, and location). Temporary and part‑time roles may receive limited benefits.
