Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Staff Electrical Engineer

We’re looking for a Staff Electrical Hardware Engineer to lead the design and development of complex electrical hardware for lunar and spaceflight systems in a fast‑paced startup environment.

This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role focused on taking hardware from concept through flight. You’ll work across power electronics, mixed‑signal design, high‑speed interfaces, board bring‑up, integration, testing, and system‑level architecture while collaborating closely with mechanical, software, systems, thermal, and avionics teams.

What You’ll Be Working On
  • Spaceflight and lunar vehicle electrical hardware
  • Mixed-signal board design and power architectures
  • High-speed interfaces (LVDS, Ethernet, Space Wire, PCIe, etc.)
  • Board bring‑up, debugging, integration, and test
  • EMI/EMC, environmental, and system-level verification
  • Space‑rated and radiation‑tolerant electronics
  • Hardware trade studies and architecture decisions
  • Supporting NASA design reviews and flight readiness activities
Ideal Background
  • 8+ years developing aerospace, spaceflight, or safety‑critical electrical hardware
  • Strong experience with analog/digital circuit design and board‑level power systems
  • Experience with high‑speed electrical systems and signal integrity considerations
  • Hands‑on hardware integration and troubleshooting experience
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer
  • Familiarity with NASA/aerospace hardware standards and environments
  • Comfortable owning hardware designs independently in a fast‑moving engineering environment
Nice to Have
  • Artemis, ISS, Commercial Crew, or related NASA program experience
  • FPGA or processor‑based embedded systems experience
  • Startup or New Space background

This is an opportunity to join a highly mission‑driven team working at the forefront of lunar exploration, autonomy, and space robotics.
