We are supporting a pioneering space robotics company developing next-generation lunar mobility and autonomous systems designed to support humanity’s long-term presence on the Moon.
As part of continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Flight Vehicle Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and verification of advanced lunar vehicle systems in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
The RoleYou will work across multidisciplinary engineering teams to support system‑level design, integration, verification, and technical performance management for a cutting‑edge lunar mobility program supporting future NASA missions.
Key Responsibilities- Support system design, integration, and verification activities across flight vehicle programs
- Work with subsystem teams to assess technical performance, design margins, and system‑level requirements
- Manage technical budgets including mass, power, and interface utilization
- Develop and maintain interface control documentation and verification plans
- Support system‑level modeling, analysis, testing, and validation activities
- Ensure compliance with NASA standards and engineering best practices
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external NASA stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience within aerospace or complex engineering environments
- Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystems, flight hardware, and software integration
- Experience with requirements management, interface control, and verification planning
- Familiarity with MBSE tools such as Cameo and requirements tools such as DOORS or Jama
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- US Person status required
- Human‑rated spacecraft or Class A spaceflight mission experience
- Mission operations, integration, and test campaign experience
- Familiarity with ITAR/EAR environments and export‑controlled programs
