Overview
Architectural | Structural Project Engineer in Denver, CO. Responsible for leading consultant engineering design, reviewing documents, managing software modeling, site visits, and supporting sustainability and estimating.
Responsibilities- Manage consultant engineering design professionals and provide engineering oversight.
- Lead the review of engineering and construction documents.
- Research and implement cutting‑edge digital building technology.
- Utilize Revit to produce 3D building models and supervise peer modeling.
- Establish modeling standards and best practices.
- Conduct site visits as needed.
- Analyze design requirements, specifications, and performance requirements.
- Interface/coordinate with other professional disciplines.
- Manage fees, scope and schedule requirements.
- Ensure technical accuracy and completeness of engineering documentation.
- Perform constructability analyses and reviews.
- Support sustainability objectives, methods and technologies.
- Prepare material takeoffs and estimates for use in design processes.
- BS degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Professional Engineering registration preferred.
- 4–8 years of structural engineering design experience.
- Experience in residential design and construction.
- Proficiency in Revit modeling software.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
- Experience with sustainability methods and technologies.
- Understanding of building materials, techniques and processes.
- Quantity surveying and estimating experience preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
- Proactive problem‑solving and solution implementation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Base Salary: $90,000–$130,000.
- FLSA Status:
Exempt. - Bonus Type:
Year‑end discretionary.
