Overview

Architectural | Structural Project Engineer in Denver, CO. Responsible for leading consultant engineering design, reviewing documents, managing software modeling, site visits, and supporting sustainability and estimating.

Responsibilities
  • Manage consultant engineering design professionals and provide engineering oversight.
  • Lead the review of engineering and construction documents.
  • Research and implement cutting‑edge digital building technology.
  • Utilize Revit to produce 3D building models and supervise peer modeling.
  • Establish modeling standards and best practices.
  • Conduct site visits as needed.
  • Analyze design requirements, specifications, and performance requirements.
  • Interface/coordinate with other professional disciplines.
  • Manage fees, scope and schedule requirements.
  • Ensure technical accuracy and completeness of engineering documentation.
  • Perform constructability analyses and reviews.
  • Support sustainability objectives, methods and technologies.
  • Prepare material takeoffs and estimates for use in design processes.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineering registration preferred.
  • 4–8 years of structural engineering design experience.
  • Experience in residential design and construction.
  • Proficiency in Revit modeling software.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
  • Experience with sustainability methods and technologies.
  • Understanding of building materials, techniques and processes.
  • Quantity surveying and estimating experience preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
  • Proactive problem‑solving and solution implementation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $90,000–$130,000.
  • FLSA Status:
    Exempt.
  • Bonus Type:
    Year‑end discretionary.
