Designs and releases complex RF printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, translating schematic and RF transition requirements into manufacturable designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and cross-functional engineering inputs.
Job Requirements- Aerospace / Space Systems
- 4/10-1st Shift
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree + 3–5 years of experience or Master’s degree + 0–3 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience in PCB design, fabrication, or assembly
- Demonstrated experience working with external vendors and internal manufacturing teams
- Senior-level experience with RF PCB design
- Design experience using Siemens Xpedition and integration of design input from Ansys
- Knowledge of design, fabrication, or assembly specifications, including IPC 2221, 2222, 2223, IPC 6012, 6013, or IPC 600
- Experience reviewing PCB and assembly drawings in compliance with drafting standards, geometric tolerancing, and change management release packages
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving enterprise technical issues
- Proven understanding of electronics standards and processes
- Ability to communicate how and why a design meets specified requirements both in writing and verbally
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Designs and releases complex RF PCB layouts based on schematic capture and RF transition requirements
- Coordinates with electrical engineering, mechanical packaging, thermal, stress, and manufacturing teams to ensure design integration
- Develops schematic, PCB layout, and circuit card assembly drawings as part of design deliverables
- Incorporates simulation and analysis inputs from tools such as Ansys into PCB designs
- Applies IPC standards and specifications to ensure compliance in design, fabrication, and assembly processes
- Reviews and validates PCB and assembly drawings for adherence to drafting standards and geometric tolerancing requirements
Manages design changes and release packages in alignment with configuration control processes - Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to support fabrication and production efforts
- Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues related to PCB design and manufacturing
- Communicates design intent, requirements compliance, and technical decisions to stakeholders
