FIELD ENGINEER

ENTACT is a premier national provider of environmental, civil, and geotechnical construction services. We directly self-perform environmental remediation and geotechnical construction work, using in-house personnel and equipment resources. Established in 1991, ENTACT has been consistently named to ENR's "Top 200 Environmental Firms", has been the recipient of numerous National Safety Council awards, and has successfully and safely completed over 3,000 projects.

ENTACT has numerous regional offices and project sites across the United States. We are well positioned to serve our clients nationwide.

ENTACT is actively seeking a Field Engineer in the environmental remediation and geotechnical construction industry. Candidates must reside in the Denver area. Project locations will vary depending on the assignment. ENTACT offers per diem/living allowance and paid monthly trips home, when traveling. The salary range of this position is $68,000/yr.

- $85,000/yr. commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: The position of Field Engineer will work closely with all members of the management and health and safety team. This position includes quality control, surveying, KPI tracking, and other responsibilities related to the proper and timely execution of ENTACT projects. Must be self-motivated to meet deadlines, communicate effectively in a teamwork setting and be able to adapt role/responsibilities in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.

Associates must be open to periods of sustained project-based travel. Must have a valid driver's license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements.

Work Environment:

The Field Engineer performs the essential job functions primarily in a construction/field setting and occasionally works in a typical office environment.

Skills/Experience

Required:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.
  • Team players with the ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives.
  • Design, planning and communication skills that promote safe work and safe work products.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Good problem solving/decision making skills.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to take the initiative.
  • Strong organization, time management and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • HAZWOPER 40 hr. training is highly preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center or AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred but not required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements.

  • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be capable of working under physical stress conditions such as heat stress and cold stress during various weather conditions and potentially long workdays.
  • Ability to climb stairs and/ or ladders to reach and work from elevated platforms.
  • Ability to grip handrails/ ladders with both hands.
  • Hot, cold and pressure sensitivity in hands and feet.
