Background: We are seeking a Human Factors Engineer with 3+ years of experience in the Medical Device industry, preferably supporting capital equipment or CT scan systems. This role will work closely with clinicians and cross-functional teams to support usability engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and conducting formative and summative usability studies, gathering user feedback, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with applicable human factors and usability standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience interacting directly with healthcare professionals, and an understanding of FDA human factors guidance and risk-based usability processes.
- 3+ years of Medical Device Human Factors experience
- Experience planning and conducting formative and summative tests
