** The Opportunity*
* Black & Veatch is seeking an
** Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator** . In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Assist in preparation and review of E & I estimates in the following industries:

+ Advanced Generation

+ Battery Storage

+ Utility Solar

+ Fuel & Natural Resources/Process

+ Water & Wastewater

+ Understand design scope and develop quantities

+ Apply productivity rates to quantities to develop manhours

+ Assist in the maintenance of the Estimating database

+ Works with the estimating team to create process efficiencies

+ Prepare and present estimates to management

+ Update & maintain historical data

+ Travel to active projects to perform audits etc.

** Management Responsibilities*
* Individual Contributor

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Strong E & I skillset

+ Industrial Project Field experience

+ Strong communication skills

+ The ability to work under timelines

+ The ability to manage multiple projects

+ Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) proficiency

+ Estimating Software (SAGE Timberline, InEight) experience

+ 1 to 3 year estimating experience

+ Field and/or Project experience is a plus

** Minimum Qualifications*
* + 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required

+ All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

** Work Environment/Physical Demands*
* Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
