Senior RF Design Engineer

A leading engineering business specialising in ultra-low phase noise RF technology is seeking an RF Design Engineer to join its high-performing team in Denver, Colorado.

This is a hands-on role focused on the design and development of high-performance RF and microwave frequency sources and synthesizers used in advanced communications, radar, and defence systems.

The Opportunity

You’ll work across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production, collaborating with engineering, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver precision RF solutions in a highly technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF/microwave frequency sources and synthesizers
• Work across GHz frequency ranges (typically 100 MHz up to 20+ GHz)
• Support transition of designs from R&D into production
• Troubleshoot and optimise RF performance in real-world applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE)
• Strong hands-on RF design experience across GHz frequency bands
• Experience with low phase noise design, oscillators, PLLs, or frequency synthesis
• Proven ability to take designs from concept to production
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
