- Create relationships with clients in the Rocky Mountain region with emphasis on the Denver and Colorado Springs area.
- Act as a liaison between the local design team, client, and design center teams.
- Manage and coordinate marketing, planning, design, and construction phase services for automation, instrumentation, control, and SCADA projects for water and wastewater utilities.
- Lead execution and take overall responsibility for I&C design projects as well as coordinate I&C engineering efforts for large multi‑discipline projects.
- Provide local interface by attending client and contractor meetings, performing field investigations, attending factory acceptance testing, and helping to resolve I&C client and construction issues.
- Monitor and control project schedule and budgets and assist with proposals and presentations in response to sales opportunities.
- Support multiple water and wastewater and other market sector projects with advanced engineering solutions and technical challenges.
- 11 years’ experience in instrumentation, control, and automation design consulting.
- 7 years’ experience in water/wastewater industry.
- Experience in project management and business development.
- Experience with control system component selection and application for distributed control or SCADA systems such as Allen‑Bradley PLC, Modicon Schneider Electric, Emerson Ovation, ABB 800xA, or similar.
- Experience with network diagrams, instrument device schedules, Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&), instrument schedules, input/output lists, instrument installation details, instrument loop diagrams, control narratives and technical specifications.
- Experience with coordinating multi‑discipline workflow process to meet budget and schedule goals.
- Demonstrated strong problem‑solving, leadership, and team management abilities.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program in the applicant’s home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 11 years of related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (e.g., background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search) in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or must be obtained within one year.
