Description
Applied Research Associates, Inc.'s (ARA) office in Lafayette, CO is looking for engineers with expertise in the design, manufacturing, and testing of RF components, subsystems, systems, and associated hardware. This individual will perform and supervise technical tasks and teams during the development, production, and integration phases of our antennas, arrays, RF circuits (amplifiers, filters, feeds), analog and digital circuits (electronics, sensors, controls), power distribution (AC/DC), radomes, RF transmitters and receivers, and beam steering mechanical positioners.
Responsibilities include the implementation of innovative manufacturable solutions and the formulation and execution of advanced unique fabrication and measurement processes. The position involves the routine use of RF, electrical and mechanical CAD software, RF test equipment (network and spectrum analyzers, near field and far field antenna ranges), and metal‑working and composite‑material fabrication methods. The candidate must be a hands‑on, mechanically inclined electrical engineer with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and comfortable and able to safely operate electrical, chemical, and heavy equipment.
Salary range: $90,/year, dependent upon education, experience, and skills.

- B.S. Engineering, 5-7 years of experience.
- B.S.E.E. with antenna coursework desirable. Experience working in antenna industry preferred.
