Our EHS Client Advisors work closely with industrial facilities across North America to provide technical and regulatory support with health & safety (OSHA) and environmental compliance.
As the primary point of contact for a client, advisors complete facility inspections and site assessments, develop site‑specific safety programs, conduct employee safety and environmental training, and lead safety committee meetings.
AboutThe Role
Environmental Health & Safety Advisors at U.S. Compliance focus on four pillars:
- Employee training
- Program and procedure development
- Safety committee meetings
- Facility walkthrough inspections
Bachelor’s degree required; preference for candidates with 3‑5 years of experience in occupational safety in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in the development and implementation of safety programs, working knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 and other OSHA/safety regulations, including state or regional‑specific requirements. Bilingual Spanish skills are highly valued.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound decision‑making aptitude, and the ability to assert good judgment.
Travel RequirementsService clients locally (commuting) and out‑of‑region. Average overnight stays 6‑8 per month. Travel rewards assistance, daily per diem, and business mileage reimbursement.
Typical Responsibilities- Provide on‑site visits to assigned clients.
- Perform compliance audits, periodic training, and routine facility inspections to identify areas of concern.
- Prepare agendas and follow‑up reports to client contacts.
- Develop, write, and edit OSHA‑compliant programs; upload to EHS Gateway platform.
- Facilitate safety committee and emergency response team (ERT) meetings.
- Perform industrial hygiene surveys and conduct air/noise testing.
- Manage daily activities through the company’s internal software (MS Dynamics/PSA).
- Research additional regulations and apply them to industrial equipment and operations.
- Perform applicability assessments and data collection with Environmental Division.
- Complete special projects: lockout/TO procedure development, Job Hazard Assessment (JHA) creation, DOT/RCRA seminars.

$80,000 – $100,000 USD
