CDM Smith is looking for a junior Environmental Engineer to join our Water Services Group.

Environmental Engineer 2 (Fall start)

• Support the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure designs meet client specifications and comply with federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
• Conduct site assessments, adjust design parameters, and perform water quality analyses and modeling.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and collaborate on presentations for client meetings and industry conferences.
• Create documents and presentations using tools such as ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and other software.
• Participate in fieldwork supporting construction management activities, providing a comprehensive project lifecycle experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1 year of related experience (equivalent experience may substitute for a degree).
• Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally as required.
