Remediation Project Manager
Environmental Restoration LLC is a provider of cost‑effective hazardous waste material management and removal services. Since 1997, we have delivered Emergency Response, Site Remediation, Environmental Construction, and Specialty Technical Services to federal, state, local agencies and private sector clients nationwide from our St. Louis headquarters and 23 regional offices.
We are looking to hire a Project Manager with extensive remediation experience, strong leadership qualities, exceptional time‑management skills, and the ability to multi‑task and meet tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications- Four (4) years of remediation and environmental construction experience, including the development of work plans, fixed‑price estimates, schedules, and other proposal submittals.
- At least one (1) year as a site project manager, overseeing multidisciplinary response personnel for remedial actions involving hazardous substances, oil, and other contaminants.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, or related environmental studies (preferred).
- Ability to prepare written technical reports covering all aspects of site operations, including as‑built drawings, hazard evaluations, waste profiling, transportation and disposal, data evaluation, and daily site summaries.
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous subcontracts of varying type and complexity, serving as contractor point‑of‑contact with subcontractors, and independently negotiating and resolving subcontractor disputes.
- Knowledge of site cost management systems, computer software skills, and ability to prepare daily cost reports.
- Familiarity with OSHA health and safety regulations for hazardous waste and general construction sites, ability to prepare and modify site‑specific health and safety plans in accordance with EPA and OSHA requirements, and ability to serve as site safety officer.
- Proficiency in complex Excel spreadsheets for quantifying and tracking level of effort across multiple tasks.
- Ability to estimate projects, lead proposal efforts, handle cost tracking, and maintain schedules.
- Strong communication skills and a proven track record of impressing private and government clients.
Pass a pre‑employment drug screen, criminal background check, and physical exam. Legally eligible to work in the United States (verified through E‑Verify). Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments and to wear a respirator.
