- Responsible for land development, residential, industrial, retail, mixed‑use, healthcare, educational, and recreational design technical tasks including conceptual site layout; utility design; roadway design; site grading; soil erosion and sedimentation control; floodplain studies; permitting and entitlement support; engineer’s opinions of probable cost; proposal assistance; and construction support.
- Prepare engineer’s opinion of probable cost.
- Maintain good client relationships.
- Prepare permit applications for applicable municipal agencies.
- Prepare feasibility studies, master planning, and engineering designs of water, sanitary, and storm sewer systems, paving, and detention facilities.
- Assist in preparing proposals for engineering services.
- Review and prepare project specifications.
- Assist in producing final construction drawings.
- Mentor and train Civil Engineers.
- Delegate project components to Civil Engineers.
- Work closely with other disciplines on multi‑discipline projects.
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Participate in business development activities.
- Represent the firm professionally at client and municipal meetings/hearings.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, billing, and assist with A/R.
- Perform other incidental duties as described.
- PE license required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 6+ years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four‑year college or university.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English.
- Typical duties involve sitting, speaking, walking, and light lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional outdoor work in variable weather.

Pay Range$95,000 – $115,000 USD
