The MEP General Superintendent will be responsible for leading field execution, coordinating trades, driving schedule performance, and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and in alignment with project requirements. This role requires someone who understands the pace and complexity of data center construction and can provide clear leadership across multiple teams and project phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive schedule execution and ensure work is completed according to project milestones.
  • Monitor field progress, identify constraints, and resolve issues quickly to minimize delays.
  • Ensure MEP work is installed according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and design intent.

  • Partner with project management and leadership teams to communicate risks, progress, staffing needs, and upcoming priorities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all field activities and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience in MEP field leadership, superintendent, or general superintendent roles.
  • Experience supporting data center, mission‑critical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or other complex technical construction projects.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and critical infrastructure systems.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors in a fast‑paced construction environment.
  • Ability to manage field execution across large, complex scopes of work.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, quality control, and commissioning readiness.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Cheyenne, WY area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct data center construction experience.
  • Experience with critical power distribution, busway systems, generators, UPS systems, switch gear, cooling systems, fiber, telecom, or structured cabling.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale or multi‑building campus environments.
  • Prior experience working through commissioning, turnover, and closeout on mission‑critical projects.
  • Experience leading large subcontractor teams across multiple buildings or phases of construction.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on field leader who can take ownership of MEP execution and keep complex work moving. This person is highly organized, comfortable making decisions in the field, and able to communicate clearly with subcontractors, project managers, engineers, commissioning teams, and client stakeholders.

They should be confident leading in a high‑pressure construction environment where schedule, safety, quality, and system performance all matter.
