Fastly helps people stay better connected with the things they love by delivering a high‑performance edge cloud platform. The Cloud Engineering team provides technical leadership for our most complex customer relationships, ensuring fast, secure, and reliable application delivery.
Responsibilities- Lead a high‑technical team of customer engineers and foster customer success.
- Develop and execute strategic direction for Customer Solutions Engineering.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Client Services, Sales, Product, and Engineering.
- Champion customer requests internally, including escalations, risks, new opportunities, and technical requirements to grow relationships.
- Maintain and improve team workflows, SLAs, and processes for efficient customer support.
- 8+ years of pre‑sales or post‑sales experience in Sales Engineering, Web Development, Customer‑facing Dev Ops, Technical Account Management, or Solutions Architecture.
- 2+ years of relevant experience leading people in technical management of client relationships.
- Demonstrated success in handling client relationships at a primary or secondary level.
- Exceptional communication skills, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated leader with strong analytical abilities.
- Broad technical expertise in cloud and internet architecture, plus scripting or software development experience.
- Comfort with change while focusing on results and customer experience.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings as needed.

Estimated range: $142,630 to $201,348, with additional equity and discretionary bonus opportunities.
