Eletrical Estimator

Overview

As an Electrical Estimator at Linesight, you will work with experienced, diverse and passionate teams to develop and manage cost estimates for electrical work in construction projects.

• Analyse external contractor bids to ensure client value for money.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Evaluate cost plans and project scopes to assess and address gaps.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
• Optimize project costs against budget, including cost reviews, value engineering, and accurate estimates to increase client value.
• Provide estimating expertise and leadership throughout the design and construction stages of projects.
• Build trust and credibility with partners across the business, from third parties to client specialists to contractors and consultants.
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication.

• Increasing levels of electrical scope and responsibility as an estimator in a construction environment.
• Advanced analytical skills to investigate and interpret complex technical data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working collaboratively in a friendly team environment.
• Ability to manage own priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong relationship building with team and clients.

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.

The salary range for this role is between $82,000 and $130,000 but actual salary is dependent on skill set, education and experience.
