Bridge Inspector Team Leader
Full‑time position to conduct bridge inspections, prepare field inspection reports, determine load capacity ratings, and support project planning and supervision. The role requires travel and will be based in one of our Texas or Colorado offices.

- Primary responsibility for bridge inspection services and engineering support including report generation and load rating analysis.
- Coordinate, plan, market, and manage multiple bridge inspection projects.
- Perform bridge safety inspections in accordance with NBIS and DOT, and supervise team members in the completion of inspections and reports.
- Prepare neat and organized reports.
- Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner.
- Perform tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned.
- Work independently under the guidance of a Project Manager/Senior Engineer.
- Minimum 8 years related experience.
- NBIS Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) with up-to-date refresher training.
- TxDOT Prec certification 6.1.1 Routine Bridge Inspection Team Leader or ability to obtain within near future.
- Experience as CBSI Team Leader.
- BSCE or related discipline preferred but not required.
- EIT and plan to obtain PE registration preferred but not required.
- Fracture Critical Inspection / Scour Evaluation training a plus.
- SPRAT certification a plus.
- Experience preparing reports for inspections, including iForms, BMS2, National Bridge Elements (NBE), etc.
- Familiarity with DOT publications.
- Physical capability for climbing embankments and manipulating ladders; frequent overnight travel may be required.
- Comfortable working at heights and adjacent busy roadways.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Positive experience interacting with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders.
