We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead design and construction projects for the U.S. Postal Service’s Facilities Repair & Alterations organization
. If you’re an engineering professional with project management experience who thrives on bringing order, structure, and technical know-how to high-impact facility projects, this is your chance to shape the future of a mission‑critical organization.
- Lead small design and construction projects (minor construction, facility repairs, HVAC/electrical system upgrades).
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and USPS teams to deliver projects on time and on budget
. - Provide expert technical guidance, feasibility studies, and cost analyses to resolve project challenges.
- Draft RFPs, review bids, and manage contractors from kickoff through final acceptance.
- Conduct inspections and oversee progress to ensure compliance with USPS standards.
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural), or Construction Management (ABET‑accredited for engineering).
- 3–7 years’ experience in commercial facility maintenance or construction project management.
- Skilled in project scheduling, contractor oversight, and technical documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Flexible and willing to travel. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Contribute to nationwide facility improvements for one of the most recognized organizations in the U.S.
