ResponsibilitiesDesign facilities for clients across multiple sectors by gathering client needs and delivering creative solutions. Serve as a vital member of the buildings team by compiling data, assisting with permit and report preparation, material testing, completing elementary design calculations, preparing quantity takeoffs and estimates, preparing engineering plans, performing basic design tasks utilizing engineering software, preparing drawings and visual aids, and conducting field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Awareness of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
- Basic knowledge of production software.
- Passion for engineering and willingness to grow and learn.
- Solid oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other stakeholders.
