Key Responsibilities- Lead the Subcontract Management Team (SCMT) for assigned hardware and subcontractor, responsible for cost, schedule and technical execution.
- Actively manage the supplier to deliver hardware on budget and schedule, develop and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Support the Integrated Product (IPT) Lead for the missile segment and provide status reporting as required.
- Support NGI Subcontract Team Leadership and NGI Supply Chain business rhythm.
- Lead the assigned SCMT for all proposal efforts for the NGI production program.
- Train and mentor junior NGI supply chain personnel.
- Travel up to 30% to customer and subcontractor locations.
This position requires onsite work at a Lockheed Martin Space facility in one of the following locations:
Denver, CO;
Huntsville/Courtland, AL; or Sunnyvale, CA.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years overall experience, with at least 3 years in subcontract program management.
- 2+ years managing large (over $100 M) subcontractors.
- US Citizen, with ability to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance.
- Three years of experience on large cost‑plus government programs.
- Experience managing Cost Plus, Incentive Fee, and Firm‑Fixed‑Price contracts.
- Technical knowledge of missile products; an engineering background is a plus.
- Proven record of delivering critical, large subcontract products on time and within budget.
- Control Account Management certification and experience.
- Ability to develop strong supplier relationships and positively impact supplier performance.
Up to 30% travel to customer and subcontractor locations may be required.
