About Us
Full Blown Kustoms specializes in designing and manufacturing high-performance motorsports and Aerospace components. We bring innovation, precision, and craftsmanship together under one roof, developing products fully in-house from concept to production. We’re looking for a talented CAD Designer with STRONG Fusion 360 expertise to join our team and help shape the next generation of custom engineered parts.
Position OverviewAs a Product Development Designer at Full Blown Kustoms, you will create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings tailored for in-house manufacturing. Your designs will contribute to high-performance motorsports builds, aerospace-grade components, and advanced custom products. Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and an understanding of materials, tolerances, and fabrication processes is essential.
Responsibilities- Produce 3D models, assemblies, and detailed technical drawings using Fusion 360
- Utilize 3d scans to model off of
- Reverse engineering of factory components
- Design motorsports and aerospace-related components with manufacturability in mind
- Collaborate closely with engineering, fabrication, and machining teams
- Optimize designs for CNC machining, 3D printing, welding, laser cutting, and other in-house processes
- Update and refine existing designs based on prototype testing and performance evaluations
- Prepare accurate documentation, specifications, and revision notes
- Support new product R&D and custom project development
- Maintain organized CAD files and project documentation
- STRONG Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360 (required) 3+ years minimum
- Experience designing parts for motorsports, aerospace, or similarly demanding applications
- Strong grasp of mechanical design principles, materials, tolerances, and load considerations
- Familiarity with common manufacturing processes (CNC machining, 3D printing, fabrication, etc.)
- Ability to create clear, accurate technical drawings and assemblies
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Background or education in mechanical design, engineering, aerospace, or related field
