Location:
Denver, CO Compensation: $105,000 - $140,000
Seeking a Transportation Project Engineer to support transportation infrastructure projects throughout Colorado. This role involves planning, design, and coordination of roadway and transportation improvements for public-sector clients. Opportunity for technical leadership, project ownership, and career growth within a growing transportation team.
What You'll Do- Design roadway, intersection, and interchange projects
- Coordinate drainage, stormwater, and utility relocation design
- Prepare construction plans and contract documents
- Work with multidisciplinary teams on transportation infrastructure projects
- Manage project tasks, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and review staff
- Support transportation project delivery from planning through final design
- BS in Civil Engineering
- PE License (or ability to obtain within one year)
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Experience with Civil 3D and/or Micro Station
- Knowledge of state and local transportation design standards
- Strong communication and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with DOT transportation projects
- Familiarity with roadway drainage and stormwater design
- Knowledge of transportation design manuals and specifications
- Experience working with public-sector clients
