Telecommunications Engineer (RCDD)
Duration6‑Month Contract to hire. Onsite 5 days/week
LocationsDenver, CO;
Arlington, VA;
Overland Park
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification (required)
- Certified Technology Specialist‑Design (CTS‑D) certification
- Active RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification
- 4+ years of telecommunications/ICT system design experience
- Experience with Inside Plant (ISP) telecommunications infrastructure
- Experience with fiber optic and copper communication systems
- Ability to develop telecommunications design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
In this role, you will perform the following:
- Lead communication designs and coordinate with other disciplines
- Create conceptual and detailed systems designs, including producing design drawings, specifications, and design analysis deliverables
- Coordinate with a BIM/CAD team for drawing production
- Perform quality control duties and independent technical reviews
- Manage assigned budgets, scopes and schedules
- Mentor and provide guidance/instruction to less experienced team members
