CFM Company is seeking an Application Engineer to provide technical support for our Engineering Sales, Contractor Sales, and CFM customers. The role requires expertise in HVAC systems and equipment, strong engineering, communication, and time‑management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Engineering Sales Support:
Provide internal support for sales engineers and consult with consulting engineers who are CFM customers. - Support the engineering sales process with product and system questions, equipment selections, specification updates, system layouts, and general assistance.
- Manage workload to ensure prompt, accurate response and proper technical support.
- Assist contractor sales staff with selection, application, and pricing of engineered products and special design requests.
- Assist contractor sales with generating and reviewing submittals for engineered products and with consulting engineer reviews of submittals.
- Provide technical assistance on matters that may require application support where engineering has not addressed all questions.
- Actively support proper application of technologies in all project phases: pre‑construction, design, purchase, installation, and post‑installation.
This is a clerical office setting. Occasional out‑of‑office work may include visits to customers’ offices, job site visits, and factory training sessions.
Physical DemandsThis is largely a sedentary role; occasional filing is required. The role may involve lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary.
Position Type / HoursFull‑time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Qualifications- Relevant work experience in HVAC equipment manufacturing, representation, or wholesale.
- Mechanical consulting engineering experience.
- Project management or team leadership in HVAC service.
- Experience with estimating and quotations.

$65,000 – $85,000 per year, based on experience.
