Responsibilities

The Specialist, Maintenance Program Engineering creates and maintains Frontier Airlines’ maintenance programs to ensure compliance with FAA/CFR requirements and company policy, providing safe, regulatory‑compliant maintenance plans and manuals.

Essential Functions
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to comply with FAA regulations and ensure aircraft, engines and components airworthiness.
  • Control, create, review and implement routine maintenance documents for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Coordinate with Records, Planning, Engineering, and other departments to maintain FAA, manufacturer and company policy compliance.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely update of technical data including manuals, IPCs, supplements and TCI.
  • Research maintenance transactions (CPCP, SI, MPD, ADs, prior operator programs) to set standards for new acquisition aircraft.
  • Create bridging documents for acquisitions and returns, assist in developing work scope for safe aircraft delivery.
  • Implement Time Controlled Index throughout Frontier.
  • Identify improvements for the maintenance program.
  • Ensure effectiveness of safety risk controls when revising tasks and promote safety.
  • Act as an engineering technician in daily aircraft airworthiness activities.
  • Follow approved procedures and advise on improvements.
  • Review new parts for effectivity, create PN controls and track.
  • Provide technical support for Planning, Engineering, and other departments; update PN controls, tasks, schedules in FMIS.
  • Conduct research and data collection for TCI revisions and new/revised tasks.
  • Analyze effectivities of all MPD, ALS and MR  required tasks.
  • Work directly with Engineering, Planning and other departments to ensure compliance and aircraft airworthiness.
  • Interact with departments to define, maintain, and optimize the CAMP.
  • Ensure specification and FMIS setup for new inductions, including task effectivities and part numbers.
  • Manage daily work priorities and ensure company policy and training requirements are met.
  • Perform administrative functions as assigned.
  • Assist in creating managerial presentations for manual revisions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Other Functions
  • Modify and authorize Engineering Controls and task cards in FMIS.
  • Process and publish Publication Change Requests (PCRs) to update maintenance documentation.
  • Process and publish Task Card Change Requests (TCCRs) to update maintenance documentation.
  • Assist in initiating revisions to company manuals (TCI V1, V2 and MX Program SOP).
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using an online maintenance planning & tracking system and maintenance programs.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree or related experience.

$48,000 - $69,757
