A Day in the Life- Preparing and reviewing working drawings, details, layouts, surveys, estimates, and work products.
- Performing independent design tasks and organizing drawings (under supervision, of course).
- Using prescribed methods to perform specific and limited portions of broader assignments.
- Coordinating with the work of others who are assisting in any delegated assignments.
- Collaborating with diverse teams, both with peers and senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑Accredited School
- Fundamentals of Engineering / Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification (or the ability to obtain in one year of joining)
- 0‑2 years of experience in utility work is preferred
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Top‑notch collaboration skills as part of a project team
- A growth mindset that includes a desire, aptitude, and motivation to learn and apply new skills and concepts
- Previous internship experience with a related industry is strongly preferred, but not required
- The job requires the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation, as well as attend occasional client meetings and site visits.
