We’re looking for a Senior Mineral Resource Geologist to join our U.S. Mining team. This position requires a broad background in exploration and mining operations along with proven technical competencies to support our industrial and mining sectors.
Your OpportunityThe successful candidate will provide resource exploration and modeling solutions that complement our teams responsible for resource‑reserve estimation, mining engineering, hydrogeology, mine planning, mineral processing, and financial analysis. You will participate in multi‑disciplinary projects, lead initiatives within your domain, and assist with business development for existing and new clients.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Build geologic models using software programs such as Mine Plan, Leapfrog, Vulcan, Geologist or similar packages.
- Analyze and interpret data using database and GIS programs such as Microsoft Access, Excel, Mine Plan, ArcGIS, Mapinfo, Torque or similar packages.
- Author independent technical reports as Qualified Person (NI43‑101) or Competent Person (JORC) once the requisite experience and qualification are obtained.
- Manage, plan and implement resource exploration and evaluation programs.
- Assist in developing work with new and existing clients.
- Diverse background in exploration and mining projects, with a past focus in field exploration, database management, geologic modeling, and resource estimation.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong QA/QC skills.
- Broad understanding of the independent reporting requirements under NI43‑101, JORC, and SEC SK‑1300.
- Understanding of project‑related risks.
- Ability to develop a strong network in the local and national marketplace.
- Exceptional organizational, technical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work and travel to remote locations for short periods (e.g., two weeks).
- Willingness to pursue a P.G. or Q.P. during the first two years of employment.
- Minimum of a B.S. in Geology; preference given to an M.S. degree.
- P.G. or Q.P. preferred.
- 10 to 15 years of experience.

Pay Range- Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - $ to $ Annually.
