Job Description:An environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities is looking to bring on a BIM Designer. As part of the Electrical CAD/BIM team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world.
This person will be responsible for a variety of project elements, including drafting and design using Revit 3D. The majority of this person's time will be spent designing, and coordinating with project leads and engineers. This person will need a strong understanding of BIM as it relates to electrical design within industrial projects, including knowledge of medium/low voltage systems. This role will be a 6 month contract-to-hire model, paying between $30-$36/hr.
a 1-2 day in office hybrid schedule will be required.
- 2-7 years in a CAD drafting/designer role, related to industrial electrical systems
- Proficient skills in Revit 3D
- Strong understanding of industrial projects
- BIM experience, preferably with some introductory knowledge of Navis Works or BIM 360
