Onsite, 5 days/week | Local Candidates Only

Position OverviewThe Staff Engineering Technician supports civil‑site design for mission‑critical federal projects within Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) at COMPANY
. Work includes producing and modifying civil engineering drawings and models using Autodesk Civil 3D and other digital design tools.
Develop technical deliverables including drawings, models, and documentation.
Apply civil design standards and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Perform Civil 3D tasks such as grading, surfaces, and plan/profile development.
Review design inputs and support quality assurance processes.
Coordinate with engineering teams to exchange project information.
Provide technical guidance and review work from other technicians as needed.
Support field activities when required.
5+ years of relevant civil engineering technician experience.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and CAD/BIM workflows.
Ability to interpret design inputs, perform calculations, and produce accurate quantities.
Strong understanding of engineering documentation and standards.
Diploma or Certificate required
Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Technology preferred
US Citizen required
Green Card required
