Job Overview
A law firm seeks a patent agent or associate to join its Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution practice group in Denver, CO. The role involves managing patent preparation and prosecution for a diverse client base, focusing on electrical engineering and software-related technologies.
Responsibilities- Draft and file high-quality patent applications.
- Oversee patent preparation and prosecution processes.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.
- Undergraduate or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, physics, or mathematics.
- Experience with graphics processing units, tensor processing units, accelerators, neural engines, and robotics circuitry and actuators is preferred.
- Admission to the USPTO is required.
- JD and active bar admission required for associate candidates.
