Job DescriptionMultidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join their Denver team as a subject matter expert! Responsibilities include advising internal/external teams on all wastewater treatment issues, providing firm-wide direction, internal consultation, and services to clients, ensuring all processes/systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations, preparing/reviewing compliance documentation and reports, maintaining reputation as technical expert by writing papers, giving technical presentations, and/or regularly representing the firm in professional/technical societies, producing quality work and ensuring QC standards are maintained, researching/analyzing wastewater-related data, trends, and emerging technologies, building/maintaining client relationships, representing firm at professional organizations, leading/managing water/wastewater treatment projects from design through implementation, preparing detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, and mentoring/training junior staff.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Master's degree in chemical, civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering preferred, 10+ years of water/wastewater processing engineering experience, PE License, strong technical background/experience in wastewater treatment, wastewater modeling, and regulatory compliance. Salary is commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
