Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Overview

Discovery Natural Resources LLC is a domestic, onshore exploration and production company with over 1,000 wells in operation in Texas.

Reporting to the Senior Regulatory Supervisor, the Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for assisting with preparing, submitting, tracking, and maintaining all required Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) permits, filings, and regulatory records for Discovery’s upstream oil and gas operations in Texas. This role supports drilling, completion, production, and plugging activities by ensuring compliance with applicable RRC rules, special orders, and reporting requirements.

The position is well suited for a mid‑level regulatory professional with working knowledge of RRC forms and processes.

This position is located in Discovery’s Denver office and may require periodic travel (10%) to field facilities in Texas and periodic work in outdoor and industrial facility environments.

• Mid‑level position for degreed individuals with a bachelor’s degree, OR equivalent experience and training.
• 2 or more years of experience in RRC permitting, additional experience in HS&E preferred.
• Self‑motivated, hard‑working team player who pays attention to details.
• Strong organizational and communication skills essential.
