Responsibilities- Support multiple utility‑scale generation projects across gas, coal, wind, and hydro assets in Colorado, from initiation through project closeout, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Attend POD (Plan of Day) meetings at plant sites, update project lead sheets and forecasts, coordinate contractors, and oversee safety compliance including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Manage project timelines, schedules, budgets, and contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Perform field walkdowns, site inspections, and safety verifications, including PPE management and safety documentation.
- Communicate project status updates to team members and stakeholders, supporting internal operations and safety standards.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Typically 5–7 years of engineering/project experience; candidates with 3+ years related utility‑scale generation experience may be considered
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP (preferred), Maximo or similar systems, Power BI, and familiarity with AI tools
- Preferred certifications include PMP, Six Sigma Lean, or equivalent
- Industry background in utility generation, utilities, oil & gas refining, manufacturing, or large industrial environments
- On‑site availability with a hybrid work schedule (Tuesday–Thursday onsite, Monday and Friday remote)
- Willingness to travel to Fort Morgan, Pueblo, and renewable sites as needed
