Your RoleThis position provides engineering support for pipeline, compressor station, pump stations, meter facilities, and other Tetra Tech units doing power stations, data centers, and terminal/tank projects nationwide. A successful candidate will bring design engineering and technical expertise to a team of established consultants with a proven track record in the Energy Industry.
Qualifications- B.S. in ABET accredited Civil Engineering program with minimum 5–10 years of relevant structural engineering experience. NCEES record preferred.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- NCEES Professional Engineer SE qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
- Knowledge in the Midstream Oil & Gas industry, specifically crude oil, refined products, CO2, NGL, wet and natural gas is preferred, but not required.
- Understand civil/structural engineering design, analysis and development of scope of work documents.
- Ability to apply civil/structural engineering knowledge and techniques for industrial capital projects.
- Pre‑employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
$100k to $150k. Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
Physical Requirements- Constantly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms.
- Constantly use hands to keyboard or type, handle materials, or manipulate objects.
- Light work that includes lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and, occasionally, up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently move about to accomplish tasks.
- Close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Clear speech and hearing to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
- Composure and ability to prioritize and handle several urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with a high level of competence and accuracy.
- Occasionally climb stairs and ladders to read meters at active oil & gas sites.

Englewood, CO, Billings, MT, or, Casper, WY office. - This position is an in‑office position.
