JOBSUMMARY

We're on the lookout for an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team and drive our civil engineering projects and initiatives from concept to completion. - Lead and oversee all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, execution, and close-out.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Identify potential risks and challenges and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and prepare regular progress reports.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
- Create detailed site layouts for land development projects, ensuring optimal use of space and functionality.
- Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the team meets project milestones and deliverables.
- Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction compliance with design specifications.
- Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Support business development activities by preparing proposals, presentations and cost estimates for potential projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for new business and project expansion.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of engineering experience within the civil design industry with a focus on land development and a proven track record of leading and managing complex projects
Licensure:
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proven experience managing complex engineering projects.
- Strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards.
- Experience with risk management, budgeting, and cost control techniques.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design software including in AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
