Process Engineer (Dairy) (PR/598560) Colorado, USA
Salary: USD
125000 - USD
135000 per annum
We are partnering with a leading high-volume food & beverage manufacturer seeking an Aseptic Process Engineer to support and optimize liquid processing operations within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
This role is focused on true ownership of aseptic systems
, driving performance, reliability, and product quality across sterile processing and packaging lines.
- Own and optimize aseptic processing systems (UHT, HTST, ESL) across production lines
- Troubleshoot and improve line performance, throughput, and product quality
- Support design and implementation of new processes and equipment for aseptic products
- Lead and contribute to capital projects (equipment upgrades, line expansions, automation)
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards (SQF/FDA)
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, QA, Maintenance, and Engineering
- Analyze existing systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- 5–10+ years of experience in food, dairy, or beverage manufacturing
- Hands‑on experience with aseptic processing systems (UHT/HTST/ESL)
- Strong understanding of CIP/SIP, hygienic design, and food safety principles
- Experience improving line efficiency, reliability, and process performance
- Exposure to capital projects and equipment integration ($1MM+ preferred)
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
- Background in dairy, beverage, or liquid processing manufacturing
- Experience with aseptic filling/packaging systems (Tetra Pak, SIG, etc.)
- Knowledge of extended shelf-life (ESL), hot fill, or ultra-clean systems
