AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Bridge Design Project Engineer IV (Design/Build Projects) for employment in the Denver, CO office.

This position offers opportunities in transportation structure design analysis, plan preparation, involving Design/Build project work throughout the Western U.S. The role involves participation in challenging projects and provides a path toward project management and professional growth.

• Serve as a senior technical advisor, providing specialized input for studies and designs in the area of expertise.
• Develop and implement study and design procedures to ensure high-quality, cost-effective work.
• Perform interdisciplinary review of project deliverables and quality control of design calculations and drawings.
• Develop construction cost estimates and technical specifications.
• Contribute to engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.

• BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• PE licensure
• Ability to pass MVR check

• Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering degree; SE highly preferred
• 4+ years experience with Design/Build bridge project deliveries.
• 6+ years of CDOT bridge design project experience
• Proficiency in industry standard software (Civil3D, Microstation, LEAP Bridge Concrete, MDX, CSiBridge, STAAD, AASHTOWare)
• Experience in plan production of transportation structures (bridges, culverts, retaining walls)
• Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing
• Strong structural problem analysis skills and knowledge of applicable codes and engineering practices.
