Senior Biosolids Engineer, Water

Job Summary

Senior Biosolids Engineer needed for TYLin’s Water Sector to design and manage biosolids treatment, dewatering, and handling projects across public and private sectors.

• Lead and participate directly in the design of public and private sector biosolids treatment, dewatering, and handling projects.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and applications to regulatory and funding agencies.
• Coordinate design review and obtain approvals from municipal, utility, and stakeholder agencies.
• Maintain project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule; develop project proposals and change orders.
• Conduct quality assurance and control; manage permitting processes, including client and contractor coordination.
• Lead and delegate team tasks; represent TYLin at professional associations and conferences.
• Develop technical standards and best practices for biosolids in the Water Sector.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• P.E. licensure with ability to obtain reciprocity in multiple states.
• 10‑15+ years of experience in wastewater infrastructure focusing on biosolids treatment and handling.
• Proven knowledge of approval processes, design guidelines, and standards.
• Contract administration experience is a significant asset.
