Job Title: Sr. Transmission Engineer

Salary range: $110K - $175K DOE

Location of job: Any location, prefer Denver, Anaheim or Tampa

Hybrid: Yes, 3 days in office, 2 days from home.

Sr. Transmission Engineer responsible for engineering, design, and analysis of transmission lines, as well as the development of comprehensive project packages.

• BS in Engineering from ABET accredited program
• 8-15 years of experience required within Transmission Engineering
• PLS CADD required
• The ideal candidate has a PE or is able to obtain it within the next 3 months

• Responsible for the engineering and design of high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
• Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings.
• Conducting detailed analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Provide field support during construction.
• Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices but may involve a variety of complex features.
• May coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and report preparation assignments.
• Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.
• Adhere to codes and standards while delivering innovative solutions.
