Principal Engineer – Delta Airlines, Denver, USA
Salary: $20-30 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize Delta Association ODI and quality frameworks to assess the adequacy of Delta Association Transporter’s configuration control, maintenance programs, and Tech Ops initiatives.
- Advance vital and strategic initiatives focused on quality assurance and performance metrics.
- Communicate with Delta Association leadership regarding major issues on designated systems and projects.
- Survey and analyze producer documentation and other specialized data to verify integrity for Delta and Delta’s partners, perform cost/benefit studies, prepare retrofit proposals, enhance consolidation plans, and ready technical documentation using Delta’s Technical Projects Strategy and Methods.
- Guarantee compliance with all FAA regulations and Delta systems for design cycles and processes used by the team.
- Travel to Delta’s partner and subsidiary technical bases and MRO locations as required.

- Science certification in a related field or 2 years of equivalent experience in an aircraft functional/engineering role.
- Solid initiative with ability to influence at all levels of authority.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Project coordination capabilities.
- Ability to recognize and focus on objectives to achieve desired results.

- Embraces diverse people, perspectives, and working styles.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
- Local/Association transporter experience.
- Functional (Line MTC or potentially Storage) and design experience.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, cost analysis, and display abilities.
- Carrier, OEM, or MRO experience with business aircraft or potentially engines.
