Power System Engineer

We're partnered with a pioneering space robotics company developing next-generation lunar vehicles and are looking for a Lead Electrical Power Systems Engineer to own the design and development of the vehicle's Electrical Power System.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll architect and develop high-voltage power electronics supporting batteries, motor drives, power distribution, charging systems and mission-critical vehicle hardware.

• Lead the design of high-voltage (120V+) electrical power systems.
• Develop power distribution, conversion, protection and control hardware.
• Own hardware development from concept through integration and testing.
• Work closely with systems, software, mechanical and thermal teams.
• Support EMI/EMC, environmental testing and vehicle integration.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the programme.

• BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred).
• 12+ years designing high-voltage or high-power electrical systems.
• Experience with power electronics, motor control or electrical power distribution.
• Strong knowledge of systems operating above 100
  
  VDC.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer.
• Experience with hardware integration, debugging and EMI/EMC.
• U.S. Person.

• Aerospace, spaceflight or electric vehicle experience.
• NASA or Class A hardware experience.
• Battery Management Systems (BMS) and power conversion.
• Experience developing hardware for harsh environments.
