Electrical Designer

Design and layout of site and building power distribution (medium and low voltage systems), switch gear, panel boards, motor control centers; convenience power, grounding, lighting, and lightning protection systems in REVIT or AutoCAD. Perform design duties under supervision, coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas, manage a design budget and schedule, and demonstrate proficiency in these areas.
Candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Office. Design experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is required. Design experience with AGi
32 Lighting Analysts or similar lighting analysis software is preferred. Design experience with military bases, central plants, and campus infrastructure is also a plus.
- 3+ years of relevant design experience.
- Great design experience with AutoCAD and REVIT, including setting up electrical drawings and applying marks‑ups from electrical engineers.
- Good understanding of the National Electrical Code.
- Experience with designing lighting systems.
- Experience with designing power distribution and grounding systems.
- Experience with designing communications and security systems.
- Understanding of developing engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to perform basic engineering design.
- Ability to perform project field site visits.
