E&C Engineer II
Scope / Project Overview:
Two E&C Engineer II positions reporting to Alexander Vass supporting Colorado generating facilities. Projects include Fort Morgan gas generation, Pueblo coal-fired generation, and renewable wind/hydro assets across eastern Colorado. Engineers manage projects from initiation through planning, design, construction, and closeout, delivering projects within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university; valid driver's license; reliable transportation; strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience:
Typically 5–7 years of engineering/project experience preferred. Candidates with as little as 3 years may be considered if experience is directly related to utility-scale generation.
Preferred Engineering Disciplines:
Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, and Electrical Engineering.
Technical
Skills:
Project management, engineering execution, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP (preferred), Maximo or similar work management systems, Power BI, and familiarity with AI tools.
Desired
Soft Skills:
Clear communication, organization, prioritization, teamwork, willingness to learn, continuous professional growth, and problem solving.
Preferred Industry Background:
Utility generation, utilities, oil & gas refining, manufacturing, food and beverage manufacturing, or other large industrial environments.
Preferred
Certifications:
PMP, Six Sigma Lean, or equivalent project/process improvement certifications.
