Denver Regional Civil Engineering Lead Position Description

The Regional Civil Engineering Lead is an on-site role based in our Denver, CO office, with hybrid flexibility. This person leads and grows our Denver civil engineering practice while carrying their own portfolio of land development, municipal infrastructure, and transportation engineering projects.

What does this role involve day to day? Time is split across four areas: pursuing and developing new business in the Denver market, overseeing the team's project portfolio for quality and delivery, managing the person's own set of civil engineering projects, and leading, mentoring, and growing a team of EITs and PEs. What will this person build? A regional civil engineering practice that combines strong technical delivery with an expanding local client base, working in AutoCAD Civil 3D alongside modeling and GIS tools day to day.

What does success look like in year one? A civil engineering team that is growing in size and capability, a healthy pipeline of new and repeat work, and a book of active projects delivered on schedule and on budget.

This role reports to the Director of Civil Engineering and works closely with firmwide engineering leadership to expand Cushing Terrell's presence across the region.
