Overview

The IS Technical Services Team Manager is responsible for the execution of Retro-Commissioning and Commissioning services, for assigned projects, as efficiently and effectively as possible per budget, schedule, and quality requirements. The expectation is to drive project outcomes for retro-commissioning and relevant new construction commissioning scopes with a solutions-based approach and mind set. Will collaborate with the entire project delivery team including engineering and execution project executives, construction management, engineers, and trade partners to fulfill the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.

Responsible for leading and developing resources assigned to the IS Technical Services Team Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Execute Retro-Commissioning and Commissioning services for assigned projects, ensuring completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, construction management, and trade partners to achieve project goals.
  • Lead and develop assigned team members, providing mentorship and management.
  • Develop project scope, technical approach, KPIs, staffing plans, and cost estimates.
  • Establish and update Project Execution Plans to meet project scope and performance targets.
  • Manage delivery schedules, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with project teams to resolve conflicts and issues.
  • Track project energy performance and ensure performance targets are maintained during construction.
  • Coordinate project documentation, communication, and issue resolution with team members and stakeholders.
  • Review expense reports and ensure adherence to budgets and company policies.
  • Participate in project closeout, reporting, and lessons learned activities.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and SOPs, exemplifying core organizational values.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of commissioning or related experience in mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, or building operation management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based commissioning platforms.
  • Availability to travel 30-40% within the region.
  • Physical ability to climb stairs, operate machinery, and perform medium work activities.
