Director - Civil Land Development

Ripple Effect Consulting is partnering with a well-established civil engineering firm in the Denver metro area to identify an experienced Director of Land Development. This leadership role will oversee a growing team while managing a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects throughout Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers, project managers, and designers.
• Manage land development projects from planning and design through permitting and construction support.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development efforts.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, quality, and profitability.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of land development experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Strong background in residential, commercial, and industrial site development.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and client relationships.
• Knowledge of Colorado permitting processes and municipal standards is preferred.
